So after 6 years and one dog sitting on them my GHDs have finally given up. Was going to go and straight away buy new ones but been looking at different brands. Cloud 9s have caught my attention. Are they as good as they seem?

Any other ones worth looking at?

I would say maybe not - GHDs are fantastic. And they last so long - my own have only lasted me 2 years, but they're still as good as new, and honestly you don't get that type of quality anywhere else.

Looking around obviously won't hurt, but I swear by GHDs, so I don't think you'll find a better brand, quite honestly

I would stick to GHDs, I love mine! It is worth looking at carboots and online. I saved £60 by buying them new off a carboot.

Maybe, but they work just as well as my others.

Don't get cloud nines! They're great while they work, with loads of heat settings etc. but mine died after 14 months. My GHDs have lasted 4 years so far x

I used to use babyliss straighteners but I recently got GHDs and the quality is far better! I could see a significant difference after straightening my hair with the GHDs compared to my old babyliss ones. Also, my hair stays straight until the next time I wash it.
