    With or without tonic.

I'd be happy drinking Blackwoods, Hendricks and Bombay Sapphire with tonic for the rest of my meaningless existence.

Try Bombay Sapphire some time, leagues ahead of Gordons.

Why no normal Gordons? Not as good, certainly not for cocktails, but it's still a gin, and probably the most widely sold at that. Also, it's absolutely fine for G&T, still very refreshing.

I went for Bombay Sapphire. I quite like Tanqueray too, though I always poop up the pronunciation. But yeah, Gordon's is below many gins in terms of quality, but it's still good. It's the one I order most as it's usually the one on offer, or the only one in smaller bars.

Oh, definitely, especially with a few slices of cucumber. It's increasingly easy to find in Edinburgh too.

But I prefer Blackwoods just ever so slightly, though you cannot find it anywhere.

It's an okay G and T, still refreshing. There is a normal Gordons option, but I'm grouping it with their fairly popular sloe gin on the poll.

Awww, I feel for you. My friend drinks the £7 a litre stuff that smells like paint stripper.

with tonic and a bit of lemon it's surprisingly painless. I think I've also built up a resistance to it.

I must note here that Tesco Value Gin is very very very good ****.

I've heard that from a few people, I'll have to give it a try when the Bombay runs out.

I got wasted on it at a party twelve months ago. I was drinking it in pints, with tonic, on a 50:50 mix. 'twas a very good night, and I think it will be my staple drink when I get back next week.
