I've just logged on to SF and received an updated message:

From the information you have provided so far, you may be entitled to the following student finance for 2013/14. This does not take your household income into account.

Type Amount requested Amount you're entitled to
    Maintenance Loan Maximum £2,843.00
    Tuition Fee Loan Maximum £9,000.00

I am rather confused as my mother who is on Job Seekers Allowance and works part time has sent her 2012 tax evidence and benefit evidence. I am entitled to the maximum grant due to low household income.

I am very worried and concerned! Apparently there is a declaration letter on the way but I don't want to sign this if I am not getting the grant!

"This does not take your household income into account." - I believe you have to select the option to take household income into account rather than non-means tested which is what you've selected. If you can't change this online, it's best to ring them.
