    My GCSEs are pretty low: 1A*, 5As, 5Bs, 1C

    AS results:

    Maths - A (88% average)
    Further Maths - A (93% average)
    Physics - A (83% average)
    Economics - A (80 % average)
    General Studies - A

Average of best 3 is 88%

My A2 predictions are probably going to be A*A*AA with the A*s in maths and further maths and the As in Physics and Economics. And probably an A in EPQ as well.

Before AS results I was thinking about 4 of my choices being UCL, Bristol, Bath and Nottingham for economics but I wasn't sure about the 5th. However I achieved slightly better than I thought so now I'm even more confused about the 5th.
If I get an offer from Bristol I may get a contextual one of AAB or AAA as I have come from a comprehensive school and neither of my parents went to university, however I don't know for sure whether I am eligible for this lower offer. Nottingham give a slightly lower offer if you have 4 A2s of A*ABB or AABB, so I was thinking if I get offers from these two they could be quite a good insurance?

However as for my 5th choice I was wondering if it would be worth giving Cambridge a shot (even though I know its unlikely I would get an offer). Or applying to somewhere like York with AAA/AAB requirements so that I have a safety net and if I got an offer from there I would be guaranteed it to have no A*s as part of the offer.

It would make me nervous not having an offer lower than A*AA so I want to apply to at least one which will give me an offer of AAB ideally but im not 100% sure I would qualify for the contextual offer at Bristol.

    Does anyone have any advice?
