My results were lower than what I had expected as I got CCC and I am now thinking of taking a year off and retake my exams next summer so I can achieve AAB and get into a uni i actually want to go to.

If I go through clearing now what uni's would accept these grades? Or should I just retake my exams?

Hmmm I don't think CCC will get you into a Russell Group, if that's what you want then resit - but have a look in clearing to see if they have any places at CCC - 16/24 RG unis have spots so have a look,

Resit sounds like the best idea but remember all the exams to be resat will be in June (no January resits) so take that into consideration.

Re-sit. That's your only option especially if you're considering a Russell Group Uni like myself.
