I've got my results at AAB, and currently hold a place at Oxford Brookes Motorsport engineering (offer was BBB). Should I try to go though adjustment to find a different uni? I know Brookes has a good reputation but I cant help but feel I am "cheating" my good grades if I accept a lower offer. Which other universities have a good reputation and should I try to get a place?

Have you ever considered mechanical engineering instead? It's quite a broad in the sense that it wouldn't hinder your chances at working in the automotive industry.
I was trying to find a place for you in Loughborough but it's not available
Not sure if it's available but you can check in the adjustment without loosing your place. Check if Warwick offer Mechanical EngineeringLast edited by Supes; 16-08-2013 at 15:51.

If this is a BEng then I'm surprised Brookes was BBB. If it's a BSc then it's understandable.
If you're adamant about going into the automotive/motorsport industry then stick with a automotive/motorsport BEng degree. If you're not entirely sure than a BEng or indeed MEng in Mechanical Engineering would be a good choice.
I got AAA, studied a BEng in Motorsport Eng & Design at Swansea Met; did a masters at Sussex Uni and now work as an engine designer for one of the UK's most prolific companies.
