Hi, yesterday I received my AS results, and did average apart from PE, whereby I got a grade D - a disaster!! I hope to study sports and exercise science/sports psychology at university, but need at least a B grade in PE to do this. I was 2 raw marks off a C grade. I got a C in 20% coursework and D in the 80% exam - I've never got that low in all of the past papers and mocks! I need help and advice on what to do now, do I resit in the summer and effectively do a whole A-Level in one year, or try and boost my coursework up to an A (12 more marks) and bag on doing well in the A2 exam. Thanks

Umm if you were just a couple of marks off a C, you could try a remark, and then just work super hard next year to bump up your overall mark with your A2 modules.
If you are going to resit, I wouldn't do both - try not to give yourself too much work! You can look at it two ways.
Either resit the module you think you're best at, or resit the module you think will make the most difference aka, the exam, since it's worth 80%... it might be that you just had a bad day or a nasty paper, in which case a resit might make a huge difference. I resat a music module this year and went from a low D right up to a really high B, so it is possible!
Talk to your teacher though, they'll know what you're good at, and what you're likely to do best in, and they've probably seen a lot of people in the same position, so they'll know what works and what doesn't!
    Good luck!
