# Epic mind blank subtraction issue Watch

Hi, so on the first question I can do the first part and show what P equals. When it came to showing q I did it the wrong way round, and I don't get how you can tell what way round the subtraction should go. So with P I did it using the coordinates of V as the Y1 coordinate in the formula for a straight line, but it gives the wrong answer, then with S as the Y1 coordinate its correct. How can you tell what order the subtraction should go...
