At some stage, your university will probably send you a fresher's week timetable, so then you'll know!
In general though:
Most people will move in on the Saturday or the Sunday. You'll do a bit of unpacking, meet your flatmates, buy some food and probably go out that night.
At some point you'll have to enroll. This means your student finance letter gets scanned, the university register you, and you get your student ID card. Expect lots of standing in queues!
You'll probably have an introductory lecture/meeting, maybe meet your tutor, get general information about the course. Your course may also run some more informal events so you can get to know your lecturers and other students.
Freshers fair will happen- You'll get some free food and the chance to sign up to any societies/sports/clubs you're interested in.
Lots of socialising with your new friends. Often clubs will do special promotions and the SU will have theme nights. These aren't official university events, but if you're into that sort of thing, then they are fun to go to.
