    As the title says, what options do I have if I cant afford it?

    The university won't really give any financial help for it,I'm afraid. Can you not borrow anything off your parents at all though maybe?If not, your best bet would be seeing if you could get an overdraft on your student account (most will do a 0% £500 for at least the first year) and paying it out of that.

    Get a student bank account and then use that to pay it as you get an interest free overdraft of say up to £500 while you are a student. Then once you start uni you will get student loan into your bank which will pay off the overdraft.

    Have you asked the university about this?
    My University offers a loan to cover the deposit and other fees that needed to be paid before we move in that can be paid back later in the year.
    They might not be able to do this, but it's worth checking.
