Does anyone know if things like mock trials and presentations are compulsory when doing a law degree?

I've not read anything about it - most of it just seems to be reading books and attending lectures.

I think it will depend on what university you go to. My uni has a lot of mooting, mock trials and presentations and they're all compulsory because most of them are graded. I used to hate it but everyone is in the same boat, and advocacy is a massive part of a career in law.
