The dropped AS Level

Quick question, I got a C in AS maths which is obviously poor, I'm dropping it

Will this hurt my chances of Philosophy at LSE and Warwick, and Arts & Sciences at UCL?

Their entry requirements are AAB-AAA with no mention of AS grades

Cheers

You should ring them up and ask them, they won't hold anything against you for being honest and asking.

It will most likely only matter if they get alot of people with the same final results so they may resort to looking at AS results - I got a D in one of mine and it didn't matter even though my offer was AAA!

I think most schools don't release AS grades on UCAS applications, though I could be wrong. If your school does, it shouldn't matter too much unless they receive a lot of applications, but offers are mainly based on predicted grades.

If it helps, I got a C in my AS that I dropped and still got into Warwick :colondollar:
