    Hi.

I have a dilemma right now and I need advise.
I've being offered a place in Greenwich Uni for Health and Wellbeing instead of the adult nursing that I applied for.
I was wondering if it'd be a suitable thing to do if I accept the offer then do it for a year and after the year request if I can change course.

My mother is also a bit apprehensive about me moving so faraway from home (Ireland)with accommodation and living cost and all the jazz.

I'm just so nervous and apprehensive right now, I just don't want to spend a year at home.

    Thank you

Welcome, lurker. The best advice is never to accept a course with a view to changing it later. It's a very high risk strategy.

Hmm. Seems a bit mean to put you on the health & wellbeing course when you applied for adult nursing! Did you have an interview for nursing?
I don't think you'd be able to transfer onto the adult nursing course after the first year with the way nursing students are recruited. Like it'd be different if you were switching from law to history or something like that.
I wouldn't recommend accepting that place; maybe give them a ring and see why they've done that? If they can't help, perhaps go into clearing for nursing.
