I phoned around yesterday and was given a verbal offer from the university. Then I received an email giving me details of the course that I need to apply to on Track, which I have done and sent. I'm really worried that I'll miss out on my place because the application hasn't been accepted and just says "the university is currently considering your application". It's been over 24 hours now so my worry levels are increasing rapidly.

What is the average time for a university to accept the formal choice on Track when they have verbally offered a place on the course?

I wouldn't worry about it because you know that you've got a place in the university. Track is probably still either getting the information from your university or just trying to update itself. Because of the many applications and the amount of people using track, it could be working a little slower than usual. I suggest that if there isn't anything by tonight you should ring up the university tomorrow and try to tell them to hurry up and inform UCAS as it is important. hope this was helpful
