Looking to apply for next year and just wondering what it's like, as it's the cheapest en-suite hall.

The Undergrad section of Raymont Hall is comparable to Loring Hall, which is often students' first choice when applying. Raymont as a building is split between Undergrads and Postgrads, so one half of the building is Postgrads only. There's also a communal computer room and piano. It has a lovely little green courtyard and is quite lovely, though it is about a 10-15minute walk from college, while Loring is effectively on campus.

    Does that help a bit?

That's great, thanks. I thought it looked nice due to the garden, plus the fact there's a study. 10-15 min walk isn't really a problem to be honest. What's the main differences between Loring and Raymont? I thought Raymont looked nicer yet it's less expensive, so I must be missing something :P

Distance, mostly. Because Loring is closer to college and shops surrounding Goldsmiths it's often seen as a more desirable location. Loring is also a newer building than Raymont, but for some it's about aesthetic preference; some people like the newer building-look and some like the Victorian conversion better.

Cool, thanks for your help. I think I'll probably apply to be put in Loring for next year considering that it's in a more desirable location, although I do think Raymont looks nicer!
