I am worried because people(two friends) said that universities look down on communication studies A level and advised me not to have it as one of my 3 grades..... I really enjoy this subject and it would be so sad if this was the case, I am looking to study Chinese and feel this subject is useful. Please could I have some advise. Surely universities wouldn't discriminate against subjects.... except for general studies???

This is a bit old but take a look: http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki...ed%22_A_Levels

It generally depends on where you want to apply and what for, the courses and unis with higher entry requirements generally require atleast 2 out of 3 to be "respected."
