    Hi,

I got my results back yesterday from my A Levels and they are as follows (with the ucas points in brackets).

    AS Applied ICT - E - 20
    AS Geography - D - 30
    AS ICT - C - 40
    A Level Sociology - C - 80

I will be taking A2 ICT next year for certain, and I'll be aiming to get my coursework up to scratch with my exam results so I hope to get a B overall next year which will give me 100 points.

The problem is, I want to drop Geography because it is too hard for me and I don't enjoy it at all (probably why I'm not doing very well). But if I drop Geography I will have to take on another AS and this will leave me with 3 AS and 2 A2 which isn't ideal for applying to Uni is it?

My favourite lesson at A Level is Sociology and I'm debating resitting AS and A2 Sociology next year to hopefully get my grade up to an A or B but I don't know if it's worth doing just for the possibility of 20/40 additional points when I could take on a completely new AS.

I'm just very confused right now, plus the fact that there aren't any other courses I want to do.

It's probably worth mentioning that I want to do Java development at Uni so that involves taking Software Engineering at University. I'm not particularly bothered which University I go to so long as I can do that course. Once I get in, I'll do my very best to learn.
