Hi guys, I was wondering if you could help answer some questions I have regarding accommodation for people going to Cardiff on an insurance (rather than a firm) acceptance. I'm uber happy that I'm going to Cardiff, however, as it was my insurance I'm a bit worried about my accommodation. I put my application in on Thursday and I'm a bit worried that I won't stand a chance at getting any offers for any 'good' halls. Did any of you apply for accommodation as an insurance student? If so, what halls did you stay in, and were they your first choice?

Thank you for all your help, it's truly appreciated!

I was wondering I also put Cardiff as my insurance choice but had now as I didn't get my firm, I'm going there now. I'm applying for accomodation but I'm at the part where I have to choose what type of student I am and I'm unsure whether I'm 'New Undergraduate Firm' or 'New Undergraduate Insurance' does it make any difference which one I choose now? Any help would be much appreciated
