You should also consider phoning them if you haven't already. They might take into consideration how close you were to the grade if it doesn't go up.

you arent missing much. The physicists at ucl are of low calibre. More "all talk no brain" sort of people who chat **** but when you analyse their blabberings you realise theyre just pretending to be smart. Also the people are really stuck up. Go somewhere normal You'll be far happier!

To be perfectly honest, I want to go there so I can swap to imperial for my masters

Haha, having been rejected by Imperial for physics for missing my A* in regular maths by 4ums, despite destroying my further maths A level and achieving an A*, and ending up at UCL instead, I found this thread pretty amusing.

Imperial has always seemed far more stuck up to me than UCL. I mean, they rejected me because I got the A* in the harder maths.

Universities dont seem to have the ability to look at anything case by case, you are more than qualified to go to imperial >.<. I think the problem is that admissions departments dont understand what A levels actually contain, I bet they think that "further maths" is just two or 3 extra units haha
