Hi I was due to attend the open day today but unfortunately I am ill. Do I need to cancel or anything like that, i'm still really interested in the university as one of my choices for next year so don't want to give a bad impression by not attending, or will they not record who has requested tickets. Thanks Sarah.

I highly doubt it'll be a problem if you 'no show'.

Just book yourself on another open day. This happened to me (except not due to illness, but for many reasons I couldn't travel to the other end of the country for their open day!) and the day after I got an email from them inviting me to their next open day.

At the Open Day stage, it's the uni who's trying to impress you, than the other way around.
