Yesterday morning, I called to York. After about 15 minutes of talking via phone and sending my most recent IELTS certification, they said they would like to offer me a place to study "Accounting, Business Finance & Management" next year and I did not forget to ask them to send me an email of confirmation.
However, at that time, I did not know anything about York university so I decided to take sometime to ask around about school's facilities, campus, accommodation, tuition fee, and so on to make sure that I am on the right track.
It wasn't until 1 am this morning that I really put down York into my Clearing choice on UCAS.
However, the course I put is Accounting, Business Finance & Management (with a year in Industry) (I did not intend to do that). I was a bit shock on this morning when I looked it again and I could not do a thing to change it. Actually, it seems to be not a problem with me to have a placement year or not. I am just afraid the school will reject me after having a verbal offer.
I compared those 2 courses and found out that The course structures are exactly the same in every compulsory modules as well as optional subjects excluding a placement year.
    I am wondering that
    - Do I reply the offer too late ?
    - Will that "placement year" make any hardship for me to secure a place in York university ?

Thank you guys very much for reading

Hi thanks for your reply , i'm sorry I cant help with your query but I am interested in that course for next year but sort of discounted York (which I would love to go to) because the entry for the course was out of my grasp with AAA requirement and one A level in maths , I'm hoping for AAB or AAA in Econ-Bio and Eng lit . Good luck with your application
