Hi. I thought of making this thread to talk about UKCAT centers as I couldn't find a single thread that talks about this directly. UKCAT is a crucial part of an application and I know from the style of the test, smallest things can make a difference. From what I've been told some pearson centers are incredibly noisy and also some centres provide handheld calculators. I'm taking the test in the Brighton centre soon so anyone have any warnings or infos?
If anyone know about the Harlow centre that would also be cool.

I took my Driving Theory test at Norwich Pearson Vue and it was quite quiet, certainly not distracting. I wore the headphones that were at the computer but you could still hear when other people opened the door to come in / leave and, if you really concentrated, you could hear the ones who were a little more heavy-footed.
I thought that handheld calcs were no longer happening? http://www.ukcat.ac.uk/taking-the-test/the-test-room/

I did mine this summer, and was in a separate room/cubicle, and I couldn't hear anyone entering or leaving the main room. I don't think handheld calculators are allowed, but there is one that you can open in the test program itself.
