I'm one UMS off (239/240) an A in AS Level AQA Physics, and I hoping to possibly do Physics at University so having an A now would really help.

I'm definitely going to get at least one paper remarked but out I was wondering whether it would be better to get two or even all three of the papers remarked?

Depends on your finances. If you are happy to pay around £100 then do 2 (you can't get practical unit remaked, only remoderated which involves remoderating the entire cohort and costs over around £200). Just remember that the more units you get remarked the more scope there is to find extra marks but also to take away marks.

Ah ok, I didn't realize the practical worked like that, thanks. Luckily for me my parents are ok with the money so I'll probably get two remarks then, I just wasn't sure if getting two remarks would make it more or less likely to get another UMS.
    Thanks!

Each remark will be done by a different person so are independent of each other. Thing to think about is, remark one comes back - yay its gone up! Remark 2 comes back a few days later - boo its gone down and my grade is now the same as it was before!

Maybe get 1 remark asap, then when it comes back depending on the outcome you could try a second remark. Although there is no promise remark 1 will come back in time, it CAN take 30 days.
