my friend is at city doing music (got in through clearing) and...um she doesnt like the course at all and says all the people on it are weirdo's. that said city is in angel which is lovely and you spend part of your time at guildhall which is also pretty cool.

city is okay, not that great for anything but business degrees..

i cant see anything wrong with the course (im a sax player so a modern course appeals to me) plus, you get to work with BBC sound engineers. And i thought the people were nice, so maybe your mate got a bad year?? plus if they went in clearing, maybe they didnt know what to expect...ah well, thanks for the info!

yeah sorry if that sounded too negative, she's just had a bad experience and i keep trying to persuade her to leave or swap courses as she obviously isn't happy *shrug* are you going to be living at home or in halls? if you have the option of halls then *TAKE IT*! there really isnt enough time during your seminars etc to socialise so she's made very few friends..feel really bad for her but ah well
