Protest was cool, i got a free t shirt: it is red and says "Lancaster says no" on it. it only cost a fiver to london there and back. There were thousands of ppl and some important people talked. i'm fine, but i cant afford to come to the hp meet up i'm a poor student.

Do you think it will make a difference? I mean, do you think it will change top-up fees?

when someone starts to rally in favour of reducing the ridiculous fees international students have to pay, then i'll make a positive comment towards rallies for home fees,if not i best not say anything. :hmpf:

i think there was some stuff included about international fees. not hugely sure but there were definitely banners for international things. they are actually ridiculous tho, i agree.

i've said this already but i put up a note on the SU board, and they removed it but the international office did say there was a meeting for international students about fees and that we should all come, but i know they're going to feed us some crap.

International fees in the UK are a complete rip-off! They belong abolished.
But, Sheila, didn't you live in the UK for the last three years?
