That reminds me: I was looking for a chance to join, but never remembered... I've been studying Alchemy and the Greek Magical Papyri at home, so does that mean I'm on for studying, among other things, Potions and History of Magic? I'd like to do DADA as well, and maybe Transfiguration, so that I can learn how to become an animagus; I really want to be able to turn into a Phoenix (now that's one way to avoid the AK :smile:

). Can I join Gryffindor, too, because I don't think there's much wizard blood in me, to be honest? *Looks around for angry Slytherins* Thanks, folks.

Thanks Magickal_Faerie, I owe you one. Alex Minto is a guy I know over where I am, we're friends, but he hates me, like many of my other friends.

Now, how do you know I didn't steal a piece of Merlin's staff, or inherit it? Anyway, my core is a piece of catgut; I just thought that Merlin's staff would sound good. I just got my letter not long ago, and wanted to impress. I do come from a Muggle family, so I'm still getting used to the idea...
