I suffer from really bad anxiety and panic disorder where I constantly get help. My emotions are really sensitive and I can be one week all happy and motivated that I can get good grades and the next I am depressed. After getting 2 D's in January I worked hard and got AAB + Distinction - worth an A (60 UCAS points) in Geography, ICT, German and media. But now am really scared for A2 especially edexcel geography. I don't but I feel scared. Can anyone maybe give me some advice? Also wanna study geography.

I'm also a geographer about to start uni at Lancaster! Your results are great - you have nothing to worry about! I maintain my AS results and improved in some as well! Unfortunately I didn't do Edexcel but AQA however if it's notes you're worried about I have plenty if you do the same topics as I did if that helps! Happy to answer any questions about geography or the application process to calm your nerves!

Aw thank you :-). Its not notes really am worried it just the step between AS and A2. Just wondering if you have any tips for applying for Geography? Maybe personal statement? I am thinking of applying to Southampton, Keele, Queen Mary, Royal Holloway and Leicester for BSc. What A2 grades did you get?

I applied to Lancaster, Keele, Nottingham, St Andrews and Edinburgh with ABBD AS grades! I got into my first choice uni Lancaster who gave me an offer of AAA in the end I got ABB with an A* in extended project!

In terms of personal statement I made sure to reference a wide variety of skills - I got a weeks work experience at the Environment Agency and I went on an expedition to Vietnam and Laos which i also made sure to mention! i think its important to reference any specific aspects of the A2 course that interest you and I know reading around the specific interests is appreciated by most places! Demonstrating what additional work/research you've done is always god as well!

    Hope this helps!
