Urgent question about as, a2 and uni bits!!

Hi!

So I just got my AS results - AACC (A - English Literature, A - Sociology, C - History (which I won't be continuing with this year), C - Philosophy (very close to a B - which is why I am continuing!).

I'm aware of the fact that the A2 predictions are usually your AS result + 1, which should give me theoretically A*A*B - (at least 1 A* in English - hopefully!).

I want to study English at University next year - Uni of Nottingham (AAA-AAB), Warwick (AAA), + Loughborough (AAB) are my top 3 choices - I was wondering, if I were to obtain A*A*B, or even A*AB, would I be accepted onto a Uni course for my subject that requires AAA?

Thank you for your replies in advance!

Doubt it but if your philosophy is close to a B get it remarked you might get a B and then you could get an A - sorted!
