Some of the courses I'm thinking of applying for to start in September 2014 aren't normal HE courses and don't follow the usual UCAS application process. I want to apply for is a preclinical foundation course to progress onto medicine. Can I still get a student loan/grants? It's just that some places advertise them as Level 3 courses and after this year I will have completed a full Level 3 course.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi there,

If you are going to apply for funding for a course that is of an equivalent level to a qualification you already hold, we would not provide funding for this.

Is the course you wish to apply for a foundation year or a 2 year foundation degree?

    Thanks,
