    Hi guys

Just received my AS results and I got:
    Psychology: A
    English Language: B
Philosophy and Ethics: B (I am dropping this at A2, don't think I can stand it much longer!!)
History: C- got an E on one of my exams due to a bad day so hopefully resit this to bring up my grade

I am wanting to hopefully become an English teacher so want to study English language and literature at university.
But god knows how I am going to start my personal statement! I do loads of things within school and outside of it (volunteer at brownies, charity committee, horses, DofE etc) but none of them seem relevant to what I want to study so how do I incorporate this in my ps?
I have uni's in mind: Sheffield, Nottingham, Nottingham Trent, Sheff Hallam, Loughborough. I'm going to have to commute to uni due to commitments at home (my horses- can't bear to part!!) and so don't have a wide range of uni's to chose from.
Anyway, if any one has any help of how I can even start my ps it would be much appreciated
Also, with these AS grades, could I apply to uni's with standards such as AAB (sheffield, nott) or is this too high for my grades?
