So i got a D when i was expecting a B overall. I got a high B for my coursework but i was really ill the day of the exam so, although i forced myself to use all my time, i kind of bombed the paper.

Lit is one of my strong subjects though, so would i be able to pull my grade up to an A/B in Year 13? Or will i have to resit the paper as well?

Getting a D up to an A/B is completely plausible yes if you put the work in

Yey! So doing a resit isn't necessary?

Resit it, definitely. You'd be mad to leave a D grade on your final results.

But anyone who sees it can see i did really well in my coursework? What if i got an A in my coursework and exam in Year 13. They're going to see it as a vast improvement aren't they, not something bad?

I don't know what i'm going to do yet, i've got an interview with my Hear of Year the first day back so i'll talk to them about it

You don't need to resit it though if you don't want to so don't feel you have to as someone on TSR has told you to :P
