I know both are soft but which ones more interesting? Which ones more difficult? Are both similar but in terms of how the exam questions are laid out? Throw whatever you know about both please thanks

Accounting is probably harder and more specialised. Business is broad and lets you study other areas in Business like Marketing, Finance, HR etc as well as some of accounting is in Business. Go for either, personal preference goes to Business because you got more options.

Accounting - depends largely on how good the teaching department is.
Business - Broad more interesting aspects to cover

This. I'd suggest that although accounting is at the heart of business, they are both very different in terms of what they offer. Business has much more variety and in my case, this included business accounting/preparing financial statements/investments. But with the added bonus of marketing, strategy, blah blah. You get the idea

This is a very old thread now so youll be more likely to get a reliable answer if you repost your question 🙂 My general advice on the topic would be to look at the preferred subjects for a range of unis you’d be interested in.
