anyone worried abt IB grades????

i am sure most of you are enjoying your lives hell lot after exam (believe me i am too) but anyone worried about their grades???? i got around 38 (including bonus) for my predicted grades but i'm scared to death abt my real ones:eek: !! i keep on thinking how i could have done so much better:frown: a bit too late to worry now..! i took psychology HL but i think i kinda screwed it up :s... so as math standards... i got 7 for predicted grade but there is no way i'm getting above 5 for maths... i have to get the full diploma to meet my conditions for my college!! what if i fail one of my subjects????? wahhhh:frown: i rejected all the offers from american unis to go to london which i got a conditional offer from (going to art college)... do you think they'll still accept me if i failed diploma but got 7 for art HL?? hahahaha all my friends say not to worry but my god I CAN'T HELP IT!!:frown:

don't worry about something that you can't change .. go and find some job to do and eventually you'll not be thinking about it .. leave it to God ..

I totally agree with psycho!! You can't do ANYTHING at the moment so the worst thing someone can do is allow the 'post-exam' stress destroy this summer............................

remember ITS PARTY TIME NOW:party:

ENJOY IT FELLOW IBers

Half of me is really worried - I need stupidly high grades to get into the uni i want to go to, and although i was predicted them, now I've actually done the exams I'm pretty sure I'm nowhere near them. However, the other half of me just thinks, there's nothing I can do now, just got to wait and see! Not long now! Good luck everyone

Well, since I'm in IB1 I've still got one year to improve on that. Currently I'm probably predicted around a 35 with a 7 in Comp. Science HL, 6 in Physics HL (which will hopefully climb up to a 7), 5 in Math HL (I seriously want that to be 6), 7 in Kiswahili Ab. (my second language), 5 in English SL (... again, I want that to be a 6), and a 5 in Economics SL (which I should have no trouble getting up to a 6 with a bit more reviewing this summer). Anyway, if all goes well, that 35 will be a 39. Fingers Crossed.

i'm not that nervous at the moment, but i think i will be in a week or so, when only some days are left until we get to know our results. still, we can feel proud for what we've accomplished so far - we're still alive, right?!

Reply 12

yes i am worried. very. to the point where i'm scared i won't get my IB diploma. then....2 whole years of suffering for nothing... sigh*

Reply 13

I can't believe results'll be coming out in...less than 2 weeks! I think my heart'll stop that one second before I read that fatal number....

The worst thing about IB though is that it's the overall points...not like A-levels where everything is separate. If I ever have children I would NOT make them suffer IB, seriously! What was the POINT of CAS or E.E. or T.o.K or.... okay sorry, it's all OVER now so no point in complaining anymore!
But yeah, at least we're alive, surprisingly not dead from caffeine poisoning!

Well, I think we're all worried to a certain extent. Sometimes I feel sure I will make my prediction, and sometimes I'm all in doubt. We'll see in 9 days:wink:

Hey people,

I did my IB programme about 3 years ago.

Everybody is nervous about the final IB results. Just do something that makes you happy and keeps you off thinking about the results lol

The best part of it all is that you finished all the exams!

Hahaha, your entire future doesn't depend on just a set of grades. So dont worry that much, theres a lot more to life than just IB grades.
