grades at clearing

are the grades for courses in clearing usually lower than the prospectus grades?
if so by how much?
iv applied for biology at birmingham uni and i wont make the BBB offer.
i thnk i'l get BCC or if worst comes to worst CCC.

any advice appreciated.

Well, if the course is in Clearing they usually accept lower grades. However, not all courses are in Clearing.

Usually yes - because they obviously need more students to fill up their course, and not enough students (who meet their current course requirement) applied.

How much? It really depends.

Take a peek at the 'Clearing' thread stickied at the top of this board and enquire for the Biology list. You should be able to do some comparison there. You might also want to contact B'ham to enquire.
