Hair thinning

My hair has thinned gradually over the past 18 months but, although I am worried about it, on one else seems to have noticed. I know that I have lost a lot of the volume of my hair but when I wash it I never see any hairs lying in the bath and I don't have any bald patches. I have been to see my GP but she was totally unhelpful. I know I have a problem because when I put my hair in a ponytail there is hardly any there. Also, my individual hairs are really fine. If any one else has the same problem as me I would love to hear from you. or if anyone could recommend me a good shampoo/conditioner.

thanks

are stessed about something or worried, or has something quite traumatic happened recently, cause that could be the cause!
