Just guessing here!
1. Community
2. not a clue!
3.Interspecific competition
4. Aarrrgh this one is on the tip of my tongue. i remember doing an example about it with involving beetles. I'll get back to you if/when i remember!

b. The change and development of the habitat over a period of time, including the development of soil, vegetation, biodiversity etc..

i think population is all the organisims of a particular species in a habitat whereas community is all the organisms of all the species in the environment.

Community= All the different species living together in a particular area.
Population= All the organisms in a particular species living together in a particular area

yea xsbrx ur right....but the op hasn't specified whether it is all the living organisms in a particular species or all the living organisms in all species...you could argue either i spose

1.Community
2. Ecological Niche
3. Interspecific competition
4. Migration (possibly)
b. Bare land being populated by a pioneer species, which is replaced by larger plants/shrubs, these die, decay build up humus (organic matter) in the soil, making it more stable and allowing trees and stuff to grow. As succession occurs, more insects/animals will populate, and the ecosystem becomes more stable.

suggest 2 aibiotic factors that could affect burrowing behaviour of the earthworms, i put space avialabe and disease is tht right?
Reply 10
1) availability of water
2) temperature

PS. disease is not an abiotic factor, it is a density dependent biotic factor i think
Reply 11
wats the difference between aibiotic and thje other biotic type??
Reply 12
abiotic is due to the physical world, biotic factors are due to organisms interacting (in this case the disease organism with the earthworms).
