Student finance issue will uclan help?

Okay when I spoiled for uclan I planed to live at he now I'm moving into the halls I've tried to change my details online in sf but I kept getting the error message I rang they said it could take up to 4 weeks for them to do anythin I'm worried I won't be able to pay for the halls if the loan doesn't come through. Does anyone know if uclan have a system to help student that have problems with sf? Original they offer delays on payments. Any help would be great thanks
