Any electronics engineering students coming to smu 2013

Hi everyone testing the water to see if there are any returning or new students joining smu this year got a few questions to ask as im a mature student and its all new to me starting unilife.

For returning students what is the 1st year like and what should us freshers expect.

Are there any specific textbooks or equipment that we should buy before we start the course.

What can we expect in a typical lesson/lecture.

Iv got loads more questions im sure il add on as the thread grows and i hope to meet you all soon.
