Scholarships for high GMAT?

I heard from a friend who is currently doing a MSc. in Finance at IE, that if your GMAT score is high enough, you can get full ride scholarships to the top continental schools like Bocconi, St Gallen, ESADE, IE, etc. Is this true??

Judging by this you need a bit more than high GMAT

Not a full scholarship, but a high GMAT (700 and better) may get you a 30-50% scholarship at BSchools such as EdHec or Essec. There are other aspects to build a class profile such as professional background, personal development, women, non-traditional backgrounds and nationality.
