Recently opened a student account with Santander and received my debit card. I noticed there is an extra two digits next to my account number, numbers are 01. Does anyone know what this is?

Could be the issue number of your card. So ifits your 2nd card it would be 02 and so on

Sorry to be reigniting an old thread, but just wanted to know if anyone could confirm this was the case (issue number next to account number)
