Is it just me or does people generally do badly in the jan exams compare d to summer exams. Oh the days of summer!!!

Is it just me or does people generally do badly in the jan exams compare d to summer exams. Oh the days of summer!!!

Generally, if people are taking their modules for the first time in Janurary they don't do as well, just because they havent had as much practise v(although it all depends on the person and the school's technique of teaching).

People resiting in January generally do do better than their summer exams results the previous year as they've had time to mature, appreciate how to answer questions, learn exam techniques and generally no more!!! I went up 20marks in my M1 resit in Jan and was thrilled!
