Thought I'd get some threads going for my subjects nice and early - so that we can all chat about the subject and help eachother out.

Just starting first Psychology homework of the year, I'd like to be getting close to full marks in these for exam prep and for my predicted grade.

The question given is -
Describe and briefly evaluate both the behaviourist and psycho-dynamic theories of attachment.
[12 marks] - 8-KU 4-AE

I will post breif part of my plan of points for the answer but my skills in setting out these sorts of answers is my weak point so any help would be appreciated.

My lecturer seems to think that eyewitness testimony will definitely be coming up.

I am 95% sure that the question on Conformity and Obedience will be on resisting social pressure since it hasn't come up since 2010.

The Atypical Behaviour question could possibly be about the Medical Model or CBT. Not so sure about that one though.

I have a feeling the Early Socialisation may be about Psychodynamic/Psychoanalytic explanation of attachment and possibly separation, deprivation and privation.

Stress is quite difficult to predict. I have a feeling that there will be a question about the biological processes of stress and possibly about the transactional model.

I've tried to make an educated guess about what will come up using past papers and what the SQA requires you to know for each topic. These could all be wrong so don't blame me if you do badly

I didn't do conformity and obedience so can't help you there, but I found it to be a great paper for me personally. Really confident that it was A-worthy so pretty happy with that.

You too. I'm sure you did fine. Last year I felt I did terrible yet still somehow managed to pull off decent grades.

I think the answer could have been any graph or measure of central tendency. Personally I put scattergram and bar graph.
