Smiling everyday - will i get dimples and other things...

Okay, so the deal is I'm pretty happy with how my face looks when I'm not smiling. But the thing is in photos etc I don't look that nice smiling. I mean with full open mouth smile. I find I have a bit of a 'cheeky grin' so i lose any prettiness or sexiness that I may have had before. I was just wondering if facial exercises would change how my face looks at all? Would I produce dimples if I smiled enough? Would certain exercises define my jawline better in a smiling position? Also my neck is slightly saggy - is there any way of eliminating that? The other thing is - I would quite like to be more of a smiley person in general. I'm a happy person - I just don't smile very naturally. Do you think if I started trying to smile much more it would just get stuck that way? Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

I don't think you can give yourself dimples. I only have one and always have.

Aw really? I met this guy who had the msamazing dimples and he said that you could - because he never used to have them but as he got older he got more smiley and they just came. He may have been pulling my leg though. Another thing was in a review for this face exercise thing (forgot what it's called but I may look into getting one) it said that it had given the user dimples after regular use..

you cant just give yourself dimples because making chin dimples and other dimples is the hardest piece of plastic surgery to perform i think, so im guessing you cant just magic them there.

Tom Cruise practiced three times every day - before sleeping, when waking up and in front of a mirror - before he got the Top Gun lead role. He didn't have great teeth at the time, so didn't open his lips as much and gradually developed such a charming look that his teeth didn't matter to casting directors.

And it's not just him, but most actors, actresses and models. Join the club, have a killer smile.

I have a dimple which wasn't always there, but that's because I had an accident with that part of my face pretty hard with machinary when I was young.

But Ron, Tom is mentally deranged. I don't know about you but if I walked past my flatmate smiling at himself in the mirror constantly then I'd be moving out quicksmart!

I'm pretty sure you can't give yourself dimples. Isn't it genetic like being able to roll your tongue? However, facial exercises are good for toning the facial muscles which prevent sagging in old age.
dimples are the sexiest things on girls
i think if u never smile u will have other things to worry about
i thought you have to be born with them

You say "quicksmart!" Toff.
I worry if you aren't joking... you're asking about dimples caused by smiling lol? I think the same actually...
 I didn't realise people wanted dimples these days! I've always been a little ashamed of mine....

Gareth Gates' dimples (and stutter) gave him the cuteness factor that earned him so many votes in Pop Idol.

OP: Smiling won't give you them though - the potential to have them is hereditary, while whether you do actually develop them or not (if you've the genes) is down to nurture.

Yeah, if you smile more than 5 times a day, a camel will crawl out of your nose when you're 50 and 6 days and 20 minutes and 4 seconds. And your eyeballs will explode.
