uhh nivea is good, any more skin tips men (+women)?
i use Clearasil face wash once a day and I moisturise after shaving. Seems to work okay.

I think alot of it is about diet and how much water you drink though. So concetrate on that.

Prevention is better than cure. Surely it's better to look after your skin and have nice skin with no spots than overload it with crap when you get a sudden outbreak as a result of not looking after your skin.

I think you should cleanse and mosturise your skin once a day. Non girly mosturisers include: Nivea, E45, Johnsons baby, Clarins for men, Liz Earle mens range...there are loads.
wash with normal soap twice a day. so should anyone else in this thread...

dont use soapy things - they might damage face skin - certainly dry it out.

shaving cream is better, but most gentle is facewash

hey guys whats the best moisturiser out there? like somethin intense that does wonders
My sister spends absurd amounts of money on cosmetics, and as if in some sort of protest, I spend virtually none. Wash my face twice a day, and used to use this witch hazel face stuff when I was going through puberty proper.

Nothing..just water but Ive heard urine is good for your skin.
when i was in my earlier teens, i was prescribed with this stuff called 'clyndamicin' its like a roll on moisturizer for mild acne.

It was pretty good, but dries out skin.

I wouldnt say just get a cream/moisturier for when u need it, but i usually use E45, or something similar, every night, morning, and after shower, and also use a shaving balm after i shave. That helps prevent spots or anything, not just stop them.

As someone said b4, diet is important. I used to drink coke, pepsi and fanta solidly, but now (not just because of my skin) i usually drink squash drinks like robinsons, or mineral water. This really helps, and keeps skin looking young (this s beginning to sound like a tv ad!)

Also try to cut down on sugary foods, chocolate & crisps being the main culprits. This prevents breakouts etc.

Its probably generally harder if you're a big lad, so exercise would gelp, but if not, then just follow what i said up there. I would recomend the E45, and cutting down on the fizzy drinks as much as poss.

See how that goes.

If u want any more advice feel free to pm me.

Hope this helped.

you wash yourself with shaving cream ?

I use clearasil which doesn't really work (but that said I don't have THAT many spots...)

Also, I use E45 for my hands because sometimes they get dry (usually actually, after using solid soap which is notorious for drying skin.) I'd recommend you get a liquid based soap to wash your hands with and perhaps shower gel? Since I started that I've had better skin, as it were.

yeh i suppose so..my bad...good point!
i use zirh clean (facial cleanser) every morning and at night, followed by zirh defend (moisturiser with spf15), if im shaving then ill replace clean with zirh scrub, then follow shaving with the moisturiser..

zirh is expensive but it last for ages and is very good stuff.. notice major differences with skin now ..use to use nivea, zirh is in another league.

the way i see it the more you spend the better your skin gets. altho some products are overpriced.

all you need is a good quality cleanser and moisturiser, also a facial scrub to use a couple of times a week..
