Is that all you do in TSR?

Favourite: Sport, drinking (usually go hand in hand), general independence, women.

Least Favourite: Exams. Enjoyed coursework etc, but sitting in the library 10 hours a day before exams was a massive ball ache.

Good times: Yet to happen, but generally it's good
Bad times: Assignments...
Good memories: Getting away from the control of my parents.

Bad memories: Rubbish social life & struggling with/not enjoying course
Good points; playing rugby, fancy dress nights, the excitement of fresher's week, independence, doing well in my subject, being involved in societies
Bad points; Exams, essays, seminars, the boring down-time, and the anxiety caused by the hyper-competitive environment

Good points: Independence, meeting awesome friends, challenging subject, going nuts during Freshers, awesome societies,
having housemates, constantly having lots of things to do.
Bad points: When the student loan dries up, deadlines/exam period are always tense and you have to fight people for seats in the library, when housemates steal your food.
You're all doing it wrong. TELL A STORY!!

First year of uni, about a month into my course. Planned a night out with flatmates. All good. Started drinking at my flat with a coursemate and some of my neighbours and ****. We started at the SU bar, got a little tipsy and headed into town. Hit most of the 'good' bars and by around 1am, I was smashed. Met this dude who I swear was my twin. We all headed back to the flat to drink more and stuff. At this point, I was beyond drunk. Usually when I'm drunk I'm very sociable, friendly and talkative. This was something else though. I was completely ****ing hammered and had very little control over what I was doing or saying.

This is when it starts to get good. I went to my room and found my guitar. Brought it into the living room and put on some music. I thought for some reason that if I strummed along and pressed on the fret board randomly, my notes would match the song. I also thought the lyrics would just come smoothly from my vocal chords. They did not. I can only imagine it sounded like someone with tourettes has strapped himself to a drumkit and 6 guitars. then jumped down a flight of stairs.

I then started to debate openly in front of my flat mates with the guy who I said was my twin 'Who would you rather ****... flat mate x or flatmate y??' I'm glad they found it amusing. Anyway....

We have these neighbours who most people were scared of because they were basically drug dealers and just generally intimidating people. I didn't have fear at this stage and just wondered to their flat without people in my own flat noticing.

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK* ~Neighbour opens door.

"Hi. Can I smoke with you guys?"

Obviously I'm referring to weed. Anyone who is 'clever' enough to go for beer before grass will know you end up on your ass. We had a few blunts and I ended up wondering off from them too, apparently (I do not have much recollection as to where I went or why... this is just what we've all concluded going by everyone's stories).

The next thing I knew, it was the morning after.... :s-smilie:

I woke up to find neatly folded washing on my bed, including my duvets. I was lying across the bed. My washing basket had been turned upside down and onto my desk. My laptop had been labelled with all kinds of random notes 'Adele laptop' (Get it? :/ ) 'porn processor'. All my programmes had been renamed random **** too... 'Don't readme' and 'Why drugs are bad for you.pdf'.

My bathroom was covered in post-it notes. One of them had lipstick and a random phone number on. My shoes were placed neatly in the shower and all kinds of stuff had been thrown down my toilet. I went into the kitchen to be greeted by overly amused house mates, who had quoted random **** I said throughout the night on post-it notes and stuck them on the fridge.

Oddly, I felt fine. I had barely any hangover. That was until, someone said the trigger word; PEACH SCHNAPPS. That was all it took. I immediately sprinted to my toilet where I spent the whole day throwing my guts up. I couldn't keep water down. Lovely. I did get out of the flat when I realised I was missing my wallet. I was freaking the **** out at this point. I went and banged on my neighbours (who were suffering from major hangovers themselves) and basically wondered in, looking for my wallet. It was in there, thank god, but they weren't happy with me waking them up and walking in, oh well.

The hangover really ruined me, but it was a funny experience and a memory I'll always have of uni. From that point on, my flatmates looked at me as a bit of a dope :P Not that it mattered.

You negged me because I didn't 'tell a story'... ...
Well frankly I am disinterested in your life story and will be negging you shortly.
Well it's only been four days...

Good: I seem to be more sociable than I expected. I've made more friends in the last four days than I have in the last four years!

Bad: I met this guy who likes me but I don't like him in that way and I don't know how to tell him
Worst memory : Going into my kitchean everyday and finding all my food had been eaten my stuff had been eaten. And some of the girls in the other flats being pretty dam horrible because I have a slightly turned in eye they decided to basically go on some massive hate campaign telling everybody how ugly I was and a 'freak'

Best memory : Most of our uni nights out. The best was going out in town having an amazing night out then getting completely lost meeting new friends and ended up watching sunrise with them at 6 am before heading back to halls. The nights out at uni were just amazing I met so many funny brilliant people drunken chats most certainly were the most enjoyable part.
The good: Taking lots of acid, being stoned all the time, playing League of Legends with friends til 7am, fires on the beach

The bad: The mess, the deadlines, exams, freezing cold houses
