A question says to draw the circle where |z - √3 - i| = 1, so I drew a locus of radius 1 around the point (√3,1) on an Argand Diagram.
Now I'm confused as it says find the point on the circle where |z| is the smallest and the point where arg(z) is the greatest. How would I start these problems? I initially thought |z| would be smallest at (√3, 0), but that doesn't make sense anymore. I also think arg(z) would be greatest at the top of the circle, but I have no idea why.
