Is this fair?

Do you think it's fair that when I got a laptop for my birthday, my brother moved the family desktop into his bedroom? It's getting to me for some reason. He has a big comfy comoputer chair in his room with a computer, and I'm stuck balancing this little laptop on my knee. Am I being stupid?

If you have a laptop, then you don't really need to use the PC do you? I would have though your parent(s) / rest of the house would be more annoyed. But it does seem a funny thing to do - just when you get a laptop. Sounds like he was miffed at that.

Plus haven't you got the couch downstairs anyway. Couch is better than comfy chair. Unless we're talking about like.. a really really comfy chair..

...i prefer sitting on a couch with a laptop to be honest rather than a chair...only my opinion though :smile:

I think your being a bit silly to be honest why do you need a desktop and a laptop?? Also, if you have a desk in your room why not put the laptop on the desk and sit at it that way...problem solved :biggrin:

erm... laptops are far more useful than desktops generally. be happy you got one. i hated sitting on a chair in one place in front of a screen whereas now i can slouch on my bed or just be comfortable on a couch when browsing.

I got a laptop for christmas, and then the other computer broke so everyone uses my laptop!! I'd say this is more annoying

Password protect your user name. uh oh looks like no one can touch that laptop of yours. Nobody apart from me has gone on my laptop and hence the password protection so nobody does. My laptop i bought it with my own money so no one is technically allowed to use mine.
