Cleansers and hair removal

Hey,

I know there have been a few threads about acne removal, but I was wondering what everyone thought was the best product for clearing up your skin? I'm currently using Clean and Clear cleansing lotion to take off my make up, and then the C&C black head clearing cleanser and ST. Ives apricot scrub (for sensitive skin) before I go out. I don't think they're working! I've always had black head and my skin has got worse recently (I'm blaming it on exam stress) but normally it's quite good. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm willing to pay quite a bit for worthwhile products!

Oh, and secondly, and this is a heck of a lot more embarrassing. Has anyone tried electrolysis for hair removal? I've got a mole on my chin, and a while ago people starting noticing that it had a few hairs coming out of it. I made the CHRONIC mistake of shaving them off with a razor blade, as waxing isn't recommended for moles. Now the hairs grow back really dark and thick and I'm starting to get stubble! I really need to get rid of it, any ideas?

Thanks for any tips love love love xxxxxxx

Use Witch Hazal, I used it for a month and it got rid of most of my spots and it's better for your skin because it contains natural ingredients and hardly any nasty chemicals. You can also use TCP. For shaving, don't bother with electrolysis again, I think it's a waste of money. Simply use a razor which has three blades on it instead of one, it doesn't take as long to do as a single bladed razor and you don't get any stubble as it gives you a closer shave. (Hope I'm not sounding like a man here lol)

But since you said that you don't really like using razors, use hair removal cream instead.

Which Hazel - is it more effective than Green Tea products?

I had a Which Hazel blemishes stick, did not work miracles on me.

Hey there Emma,

Talk to the pharmacist at your local Boots. How you successfully treat you your skin problem heavily depends on whether it's localised reactions or a systemic hormonal shift. So have a chat there before splashing out on a plethora of products. Dermatology's so easy!
