Boyf/girlf who lives next door-good or bad relationships?

i was in a relationship with my next door neighbour... we were on and off for about 2 years.. now it is hell as we broke up on bad terms and now he has new gf.. it is even worse living next door to him.. can't w8 for uni 06' to move away.. so what you think people... would you love to live next to your other half? i mean don't get me wrong when we were happy it was great to just go 2 yards to the right but you kinda of get claustophobic :P xxx

I hate my neighbours. But I live with my boyfriend so if we split up we would still be living together as its his house and I have nowhere to go, which would be far worse than living being neighbours :wink:

living next door top your boyfriend/girlfriend is good when you are dating but it's if/when you brack up it becomes hard as you will bump in to them and their parents making it really hard for both parties particully if you broke up on bad terms

yeah i did and it was a pretty ok experience, even after breakup. just depends on what went on during the relationship yeah :biggrin:

I'm living with my boyfriend while at uni. Most my home friends think it's a silly idea. If we break up on bad terms I don't want to think about what would happen.
I've never liked any of my neighbours (or most the people in my area) but the only bad thing about being that close to a partner is finding it hard to get space to cool down if they can just pop over.

Personally I would find it a bit claustrophobic cos whilst it is easy to see your partner lots you could end up seeing them too much, like constantly popping around for half hour before you go out/when you get home. Whilst it makes it easier to see them it could become difficult not to! & seeing them coming home might be weird, there would certainly be no secrets! & breaking up would be hard seeing them with another girl. But if the person you like lives next door what can you do about it!
