AQA General Studies... politics and the pre-release?! EEK!

I'm not too much of a politics person, anyone got any helpful tips?!!

hehe...just go into the exam and blag it!!! i hate politics with a passion...only found out what the exam is called today....just write lots!

I rushed the first part too, thinking i was spending far too long on each question, then got to they essay and couldnt think of what to write at all !

i didnt do too well on that paper, all my other subjects are non essay based so im not used to writing loads :frown:

Ah that was alreet. But then again, I'm a politics student, so it wasn't really a challenging paper for me. Really quite enjoyed the essay question - did the one about the advantages and disadvantages of changing to a proportional representation system (so glad I kept abbreviating it to PR in the exam though!)

i got a U - for writing stupid answers which diverged the topic to the MRLP.

'Discuss the key differences and similarities between labour and conservatives'

the key difference is that labour are called 'twiddle dee' whilst the tories are called 'twiddle dum'

that question was cool :smile:
